Using a carbon fiber frame in combination with powerful motors gives these bikes the ability to go farther and last longer than others with similar motors and batteries. The strength of the carbon fiber allows them to create a strong and light frame without the need for a seat post tube. This isn't something you can do with metals, unless you want to add more weight. And with electric vehicles, less weight means more distance.
